During the first few weeks of school we have seen various interests in the children. Here are a few we plan to explore more as the year goes on!

Animals has been a big part of our play in the classroom. The children bring the animals into many areas of the room as they are working. We have made animals homes out of sand, magnates and blocks. They even put the animals on a map in the place where the children believed they lived in the world.

We have explore many different building materials so far. We have used the large and small blocks from our classroom as well as the foam blocks. 

We have also enjoyed painting! We have a great artistic group of kids this year!

We also love sand!
