Trains: Collaborating with Other Classrooms

We have continued to explore trains with rooms 2 and 3. We have noticed many children traveling along the lines of the train tracks as they walk down the hallway. This gave us the idea to create a train for the children to travel on. We hooked scooters together and had the children work together to move their scooter train down the hallway.

 

Clay Animals
We first started explore how to use the clay and the tools. Now we have started to look at models for how we can build animals out of clay. We have also started to explore clay with some of the other classrooms. We are sharing our knowledge with children that are younger than us. It is great to see a variety of different age levels working together on a common goal.
